The Doctor got BETTER!!!

Man I have to say, for a collector and a geek this week was pretty awful, but near the end it got better with the discovery of the Sonic Screwdriver.

Now I just have to figure out how to get it, because the person who was going to pick it up, his plans changed. So it is sitting waiting for me.

Now as I am at work right now (waiting for a file to open) I went to my Doctor Who new site, and low and behold

SEASON 1 WILL BE RELEASED FEBRUARY 14, 2006!!!!

They even had the actual pictures of the case and insides.




ANd to top that, BBC has announced a new Doctor Who action figure line.

I would show pictures, but that would allow spoilers.

OOOO EEEEEEE OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!

More Doctor Who News: Good and Really Bad.

Well the good news is that after tireless searching for a Sonic screwdriver pen, an email pointed me in the right direction.

Toy Addict sent me an email that they have the pen.

I recieved the email at 7:30am this morning, and at 7:31am I was on the phone leaving a message.

This is what I have been waiting for.



Now on to the Bad news I found out why the Doctor Who DVD series is being delayed.

The US " Sci-Fi Channel" has aquired the rights to broadcast the first season.

SO in order to capatalize on the US audience the BBC have decided to, not push back but FLUNG BACK!!!, from Feb. 14, 2006 to JULY 4, 2006.

So until then we will have to make due with my make shift copies from the VCR.

I knew it would happen....

I just knew as I posted the info about the New Doctor Who Series something would happen.

And of course...

BOOM

The Doctor calls in sick.

APtly titled. Now I have to wait to get it.

Not to fear. I still have my VHS copies that I recorded from the CBC.

SO I will have to send those out to you all.

Well I was searching Amazon.ca for my Dr who set to get an idea of how much it is going to cost (and no matter what it is still a FABULOUS deal). Since I couldn't find it there I checked Amazon.com.

Doctor Who: The Cristmas Invasion

Ok as all of you know, I live to watch DOCTOR WHO. Both old school and the new series.

Since it is a british show a season only lasts 13 episodes.

The last episode aired in June/July.

(memory is a little fuzzzzy right now)

SO for Christmas, I and 4 million other WHOvians, (I think thats what we are called, hey it beats being a Trekkie!), got a new special.

The Doctor WHo Christmas Invasion.

It was FANTASTIC!!!

So the point of this entry is, come "Tuesday, February 14, 2006" The 2005 Season of Doctor Who is coming out on DVD, so all my loyal subjects shall be watching the series and be ready for the SECOND Series to start sometime in March/April.

Not to worry, my DVD set shall traverse both Time and Space, so all can see.

So until then I will be waiting patiently in my TARDIS!
